Welcome to the Study Guide

Welcome to The Lied Center of Kansas Studio Lied website for Ping
Chong’s Native Voices – Secret History!
Three
public performances will be in Lawrence at The Lied Center of Kansas
on Thursday, April 28th, Friday, April 29th, and Saturday, April 30th at 7:30
p.m. In association
with Saturday’s performance, there will also be a
free

This website is your ticket "beyond the stage." We hope these materials
open doors, spark your exploration of oral history, theatre and the Native
American community, and enhance your enjoyment of Ping Chong’s Native
Voices – Secret History and the performing arts.

This Website
On this Studio Lied website, we will learn about the Native Voices - Secret History performance: how it was made, its creator, and its cast members. We will explore the idea of "unheard voices" in our community, and look at efforts to listen to these voices. We will hear the voices of Native American youths within our community, and have the opportunity to share our own personal oral history.Navigate
