This Website
On this Studio Lied website, we will learn about the Grandchildren of the Buffalo Soldiers artists and performance and explore conflict and creativity as they relate to life and identity in some cultures today. You will be introduced to the people responsible for producing and directing this play and their cultural heritage. We will also explore how different cultural groups reflect conflict and creativity in modern American society in a variety of ways. Included in this site are opportunities to interact and consider your own ideas on conflict and creativity.Navigate

Teachers
The artists in this year’s World Series performances come
from countries challenged by conflict, revolution, reform and hardship.
This theme will lend itself to a wide range of teaching and learning
opportunities, which we will support with activities on this site
and with other websites to explore. World Series performances offer
exciting gateways through which to expand awareness of such areas
as current social-political events, the importance of history and
geography, and the challenges and opportunities of living on a culturally
diverse planet.
