Studio Lied
Studio Lied is an integrated program for secondary students and their teachers. However, the website is developed for all audience members who are interested in learning more about the artists, the art form, the creative process or the theme and background of this performance. In addition to performances, the Adventures in Imagination Studio Lied program includes opportunities such as interaction with the performers, discussions related to performances and online study materials.
The Studio Lied program for Inspired by America Cypress String Quartet includes the following opportunities:
• This online Studio Lied website with background information, as well as activities for students and teachers.

This Website
On this Studio Lied website, you will learn about the performance and those involved in Inspired by America, including Cypress String Quartet. Here you will also find information about Jacob Needleman, author of The American Soul, and Michael Schwarz, director of the award-winning original film based on this best-selling book. The book and film are the basis for Cypress String Quartet’s multi-dimensional performance combining live music, film images, and spoken reflections about the essence of America. Also included in this site are opportunities to express your own thoughts and feelings, as you consider issues related to the performance or to performance art in general.
