JazzReach
This exciting live multimedia educational program highlights some of the important achievements and music by women (composers, arrangers, instrumentalists and vocalists) in jazz from early 20th century through present day.

Through the integration of live music (performed by the Metta Quintet), live narration, film and stunning lighting, scenic and projection designs, She Said/She Says is an immersive, informative and inspiring educational program that, in contrast to the often negative images of women depicted throughout so much of mainstream popular media, celebrates the virtuosity, integrity, commitment and tenacity of some of the many women who have dedicated their lives to jazz.

The Metta Quintet is JazzReach's official resident ensemble and is solely responsible for carrying out all of the organization's artistic endeavors. A highly creative unit comprised of some of today's fastest emerging jazz artists, Metta Quintet aspires to position itself among the vanguard of visionary contemporary ensembles committed to exploring exciting new artistic territory and the infinite boundaries of both the recorded and live jazz experience.
