• Three-time Grammy Award winner Branford Marsalis is a saxophone legend.

• Eddie Sauter’s significant work, Focus, a 1961 composition written for jazz musician Stan Getz, capitalizes on the classic tradition of the Alexander String Quartet and the spontaneity of Branford Marsalis’ jazz saxophone.

• Focus features Béla Bartók inspired harmonies, textures and melodic string quartet jazz material matched with the improvisational saxophone.
