The Harlem Quartet

• The Harlem Quartet, an all-Black and Latino string quartet, is dedicated to advancing diversity in classical music while engaging young and new audiences through the discovery and presentation of varied repertoire.

• At the Lied Center, the quartet will perform classical and jazz mixed selections from their 2007 album Take the ‘A’ Train, including works by jazz composer Wynton Marsalis, pianist Billy Strayhorn and classical composer Joaquin Turina.
