Ticket sales at the Lied Center provide only 40% of the funds necessary to bring the world class artists to Lawrence and help the Lied Center to fulfill its mission of presentation, education, research and public engagement. The Friends of the Lied are generous individuals and area businesses whose financial contributions are critical to the Lied Center and make Lawrence such a rich place to live. Your generous donation will:

• Sustain the quality programming that the Lied Center is known for
• Provide educational opportunities for students and community members to interact with visiting artists
• Increase the number of arts-related events for young people
• Help develop audiences of the future
