orchestra in Latin America, the Orquestra de
São Paulo performs with infectious exuberance
and breathtaking expertise.
 
The Orquestra, led by talented American
conductor Kazem Abdullah and joined by internationally acclaimed percussionist Evelyn Glennie, will present works by Guarnieri, Brahms
and a special concerto for percussion and
orchestra, Veni, Veni, Emmanuel, by Scottish composer, James MacMillan.
 
With Glennie’s superb technique, the Orquestra’s energy and precision, and a passionate program celebrating rhythm, this dynamic event is not to
be missed.
