Knocked from her mother’s safe embrace by an attacking owl, baby bat Stellaluna lands headfirst in a bird’s nest. This adorable baby fruit bat’s world is literally turned upside down when she is adopted by the occupants of the nest and adapts to their peculiar bird habits until she is happily reunited with her mother. This puppet production is based on Janell Cannon’s original story.
This program is presented in part by, the Kansas Arts Commission, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency, and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
