“A melding of Moby and Radiohead to perfection,” singer-actress Irene Bedard and her husband, Deni Wilson, combine talents to create exciting, progressive Native rock. Irene and Deni have recorded three albums and have been nominated for two Native American Music Awards (Nammys).
Irene, an Alaska native who is Inupiat Eskimo and Cree, is best known as an actress and was the speaking voice and likeness of Disney’s “Pocahontas.” She also starred in the cult classic “Smoke Signals.” Deni is an independent musician who programs music with hip-hop style beats and rhythms, mixing in acoustic and electric guitar lines.
